I provide online counselling in British Columbia and in-person counselling in Vancouver.* The focus of my practice is to support individuals 18 years and older, including young adults and older adults.
We can discuss what pace of therapy best suits your needs and schedule sessions accordingly, though counselling often begins as weekly or bi-weekly meetings. You can book an online consult through JaneApp or contact me directly.
* Telephone counselling is also available.

Consultation: New Clients
If you are a new client, our phone consultation will give you an opportunity to share what brings you to therapy, ask any questions, and learn about my counselling approach. It will also allow us to explore whether we will be a good fit to work together. If I believe you would be best served with another therapist, I will refer you to other resources to the best of my ability.

Focus
Individual counselling can help you explore aspects of your experience, identity, and relationships in an open, affirming, accepting, confidential environment that supports your healing and growth. Together, we can help you strengthen your connection with yourself, in your relationships, and with your communities.
My practice integrates self-compassion as a foundation and approaches counselling from a collaborative, trauma-informed, holistic, and sex-positive lens. I integrate EMDR when it is a good fit for individual clients. As a long-time observer of mindfulness meditation and other practices that strengthen the mind-body connection, I bring in body awareness and mindful strategies to ground clients in session when I think it’s helpful.
